About the Program

Young Creatives Bootcamp is an intensive series of training and classes targeted at young people (5-25) looking to acquire the skills to launch a career in film and performing arts. Participants will be treated to in-depth teaching and hands-on sessions with theatre and notable experts in Nigeria’s film industry.

  • Category 1: Children (7 and below)
  • Category 2: Age 8 to adolescent

Highlight of the Program

Classroom sessions

YCB reckons with the importance of theoretical knowledge in giving direction to practice. Concepts that undergird the aspects of film and theatre will be taught alongside the physical aspects.

Project

At the end of the program, students will present a body of work—in writing and performance—as testament to the effect of their training. This will also form the core of their assessment and an opportunity to celebrate their perseverance.

Take center stage

In the course of the bootcamp, participants will be required to play roles, act and be an actual part of our immersive classes. What is better than learning by participation? We give you a chance to be a character in the story of your growth.

YCB sessions are held on weekends from 9:00AM – 3:00PM. Refreshments are provided at break time.

Come with a curious mind.

Basically, note-taking materials and rehearsal outfits (for those opting for modules that require such). Also, possessing a laptop will be a bonus.

Yes. Fadaka Academy opportunity for scholarship is now open. Selected applicants will enjoy a 50% discount. Regarding payment plans, you can pay in a maximum of two instalments once before the first week and the balance in the second week
